Welcome! I am a graduate student pursuing my M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Wake Forest University. I am passionate about working with women, teens, and emerging adults. My focus areas include identity development, Pre/Postpartum issues, spiritual concerns, anxiety, depression, loss, work/life balance, boundaries, and life transitions.
I believe in focusing on your holistic wellbeing and strive to offer a warm, non-judgemental presence. It is my hope to create a safe space where you can show up fully yourself and feel seen, accepted, and heard. It is in this authentic, safe space where we can collaborate to create and work toward your therapeutic goals. Additionally, I am able to counsel from a Christian perspective (if requested by the client) in sessions.
Throughout my training to become a counselor, I have resonated with Person-Centered Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. That being said, I will work to find the best approach for each individual client.
On a more personal note–when I’m not in sessions, I love being with my husband and kids, thrifting, being outside, and drinking coffee.
